What we do
At Voices in the Wilderness, we believe spiritual growth happens through intentional fellowship, time in God's creation, and encouraging one another in Christ. Our gatherings are designed to strengthen men spiritually while building lasting friendships on and off the trail.
DAY HIKES
We regularly explore trails throughout Johnson City, the Tri-Cities, and the surrounding Appalachian Mountains. Our hikes are open to men of various experience levels and provide opportunities for fellowship, conversation, and enjoying God's creation together.
OVERNIGHT CAMPING
Several times throughout the year, we plan overnight camping trips where we spend extended time together around the campfire, sharing meals, studying Scripture, praying, and building deeper relationships.
BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER
Every gathering includes time in God's Word. We encourage thoughtful discussion, prayer, and practical application as we seek to grow in our walk with Christ.
BROTHERHOOD & ACCOUNTABILITY
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solitary journey. We strive to build genuine friendships where men encourage one another, pray for one another, and walk together through life's victories and challenges.
SERVING THROUGH CREATION
The wilderness reminds us of God's greatness and provides a peaceful setting to step away from life's distractions. Whether on a mountain overlook or beside a campfire, we seek to honor Christ while experiencing His creation together.
